Wolmido with Paul & Mary

Hello everyone! It's Beth-Anne again, I'm home recuperating and thought this would be a good time to post a bit. First though, thank you for all your prayers and love you've sent to Matthew and I here in Korea. Without God and you all, we wouldn't have made it. Thank you and Praise be to God.

This is from April 19th when we got together with Paul and Mary for a fun Sunday afternoon =)

Paul's mother let us use her car, so that was fun and first we went out to eat at Sorentos an Korean-Italian restaurant.

Then we went to Wolmido. Matthew and I had been to Wolmi Park during our first term in Korea, but this time we were taken to Wolmido. It reminded me of the Atlantic City boardwalk and reminded me of really good memories of Daddy, Jason, and I doing things there when my dad worked in Atlantic City at the hospital.

One of the first thing we did was have Matthew and Paul do the batting cages. It was really funny to watch. No helmets were needed, only a few coins and the bat. Inside there were gloves of some-sort for batting with but they were not batting gloves. =P

We walked around enjoying the sights and walked to the amusement park area. As our time in Korea comes to a close many things are coming in circles. This was the same park that Matthew and I had accidentally ended up at when we got lost on the bus going to E-Mart during our first week in Incheon.

Then we continued to walk and look at different little shops with games in them. Paul and Matthew played air hockey and then all four of us played this game where we had to find the differences in the pictures. So each couple was a team. When Matthew and I lost, we helped Paul and Mary try to beat the computer. It was fun.

As the sun set we just enjoyed the beauty of it and spent time relaxing together.

Paul and Mary are some of our closest friends in Korea and we will really miss them. We try to study the Bible together every weekend but we also like to plan other fun things to do together. We hope to stay in touch with them when we leave. Please pray for them as they continue to grow in Christ.

I'm so glad that you are doing a little better Beth-Anne!

You're pictures looked nice! Especially the sun set! It kind of reminds me of our family experiences on the boardwalk in Ocean City Maryland. :-)
