Subong Park in Spring

We have been enchanted by the spring here in Korea. The long winter of cement and the length of time it's been since we've had the fresh country air of our youth has made us cherish this time even more.

One Sabbath we decided to go up to Subong Park and see if there were any signs of spring to be seen. We were not disappointed.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1

"He took him outside and said, 'Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.'" Genesis 15:5

God's ways are beyond our ways. Beyond our imagination and totally amazing.

"...his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers." Psalm 1:2-3

"For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him..." Psalm 103:11

"You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly..." Psalm 65:9

"The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God. " Isaiah 35:1

"Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." Luke 12:27

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:20

"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies ? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God." Luke 12:6

"To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it." Deuteronomy 10:14

"Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. " Psalm 126:5

"When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?" Psalm 8:2-4

"Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth. " Psalm 96:11-13
